White Peach Thyme Iced Tea

Cool off with a refreshing glass of peach thyme iced tea.

This mocktail is easy to make and is the perfect drink for those hot summer days.

This white peach iced tea is a refreshing take on the classic Arnold Palmer. It’s made with earl grey tea, fresh juicy peaches, and fragrant thyme.

Using earl grey tea gives this drink a much lighter, more balanced taste then what you would get with black tea.

This homemade iced tea all natural and is not loaded with sugar, like the ones you typically buy in the grocery store. It is high in antioxidants and can also be made vegan if you prefer to use an alternative sweetener. You can always adjust the amount of honey in the recipe and add more or less to you liking.

How to make this recipe

  • Brew your tea like you normally would with boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes. Let cool. You can also do the cold brew method, where you let cold water steep overnight with the tea bags.

  • Stir in the honey.

  • Place some sliced peaches and sprigs of thyme in the bottom of a pitcher and muddle just enough to crush the peaches and form a pulp.

  • Pour in the cold earl grey tea and stir to combine all the flavors.

  • Pour over ice and garnish with a slice of peach and a sprig of thyme.

A few notes on this recipe

  • Peaches or nectarines will work for this recipe. Whichever you decide to use, make sure they are very ripe. The more ripe they are, the juicer!

  • The earl grey tea can be made ahead of time. If brewing the tea with boiling water, make sure to pull the tea bags out before chilling or the tea will taste bitter. The tea bags can only stay in if you are using the cold brew method.

  • If you prefer a smoother drink, you can strain the peaches and thyme once they are muddled. You will still get the subtle flavor from the fruit and herbs this way.
